Diners rave about the generous portions and affordable prices, especially for the Sunday lunch specials—two courses for just £13 and three for £16. Many mention the juicy burgers and expertly crafted steak and ale pie that consistently impress. The warm welcoming atmosphere, aided by friendly staff, enhances the overall experience. The wine selection receives high praise as well, offering something for every palate. Guests also love that the menu caters to various tastes, from classic dishes to more adventurous options. Families appreciate the kids' menu featuring meals sure to please even picky eaters, making it a great spot for a family outing. Overall, the combination of delicious food and casual charm make for a winning formula.

Most Disliked

Some customers note that while the cozy environment is inviting, it can also feel a bit cramped during busy hours, impacting the overall experience. A few reviews mention longer wait times on particularly busy evenings, especially for food service, which could lead to hungry diners becoming impatient. A few patrons have expressed disappointment that certain menu items run out quickly, indicating a need for better stocking during peak times. Additionally, while the ambiance is charming, some feel that a bit more space between tables could improve comfort. Overall, while these issues are minor in the grand scheme, they are worth noting for an optimal dining experience.

The food was a pleasure to look at aswell as having a great taste. The mushroom starter was awesome and the vinaigrette that was drizzled over was lovely when you had some on the fork. Stir-fry was brilliant, not swimming in the sauce and not to dry. But Goldilocks just right. It was not at all what I expected from the outside, from the photo's you think it is an old school pub but a nice restaurant in all and some funky pictures on the walls. The table staff were friendly enough and took the time to make you feel welcome. Thank you very much all for the great experience.

Great Sunday roast at Colton’s bar and grill. It was cheap and cheerful. Best value for money around £10 for a roast !! They were able to accommodate a chicken roast for me which I preordered. Only thing missing was stuffing which was disappointing as it was on the menu. Throughly enjoyed will return again soon.

Good pint and fantastic Sunday roast, the beef was melt in the mouth and the gravy was perfect. Tidy little beer garden with a small play area to keep the children amused. Can't fault it!!
